Blue Heron Bridge: PADI Advanced Mermaid Course

Take the next step in your mermaid journey with our PADI Advanced Mermaid Course, the second level toward becoming a PADI Mermaid Instructor. This 3-hour course builds on your PADI Mermaid training and helps you dive deeper, expand your comfort in open water, and refine your technique.

Led by Mermaid Keke — Florida’s first Mermaid Instructor Trainer & female Freedive Instructor Trainer, this course blends freediving skills with mermaiding for a truly unique & transformative experience.

You’ll begin with a knowledge review session to go over your eLearning and answer questions, followed by light stretching before heading into the clear, tropical waters of Blue Heron Bridge, one of the most famous dive sites in the world.

Prerequisites:

• PADI Mermaid certification (or qualifying equivalent)
• 12+ years old
• Ability to swim 100 meters and float comfortably for 10 minutes

What you’ll learn:

• How our bodies adapt to the underwater world
• Proper breathhold and safety techniques
• Performance skills for underwater modeling and flow
• Environmental awareness and ocean respect
• Advanced open-water confidence and control
• How to assess ocean conditions- tides & currents
• How to mermaid in open water environments
• Rescue and safety skills
• How to mermaid safely from a boat (optional add on of additional fee)

Upgrade your adventure with a private mermaid session at Peanut Island, accessible via our privately owned center console boat — the only mermaid company in Florida with its own vessel!

During this exclusive experience, you’ll learn proper boat entry and exit techniques and practice your mermaid skills in a stunning open-water setting at the famous Peanut Island.
