Turn Your Passion Into a Career in Florida!

The PADI Mermaid Instructor training is a 2-day program that will teach you how to instruct all levels of the PADI Mermaid courses, including Discover Mermaid, Basic Mermaid, Mermaid, and Advanced Mermaid.

Prerequisites:

  • 18 years old
  • Certified as a PADI Advanced Mermaid OR have a qualifying certification OR proof of mermaid diving experience (at least 15 mermaid diving sessions, including 3 or more open water sessions)
  • Completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within the last 24 months (or take course with us)
  • Current medical statement signed by a physician within the previous 12 months

What you’ll learn:

  • How to conduct the PADI Mermaid program following PADI Standards while using a student-centered learning approach
  • How to teach courses that are low-stress, performance-based, safety-oriented and learner-centered
  • How to teach mermaid skills and improve skill demonstration techniques and personal abilities
  • Refine mermaid skills to a role-model level
  • How to organize and market your courses

Mentorship & 1:1 Consulting/ Coaching Sessions:  $250 (1 session – 1 hr) | $450 (3 sessions – 1 hr ea.) | $500 (5 sessions – 1 hr ea.)

    • Starting a new business and a new career can be overwhelming at times! Live Free Diving wants to make sure you have the tools and support you need to grow and be successful. During this session(s) you will learn everything Mermaiding! Ask any questions you want! Get guidance on how to successfully set up, & market your business, provide dive travel, mentorship to others and more!

Advanced Business Setup & Marketing Package: $1,100 (valued at $1,700)

    • Our Chief Growth Expert, Kami Kreaps will take your business to the next level with creation of your website, booking system consulting, integration, & onboarding. Also, logo creation, business card creation, and rack card or other printed material to be distributed. (does not include cost of printed material)

Mermaid Course Shadow: $150 (includes student certifications) 

    • Shadow a Mermaid or Advanced Mermaid course and earn student certifications!

Professional Photo Package: $250

    • Every new business needs photos! Live Free Diving will provide you with professional in water (and out of water) photos to use for marketing yourself and the courses you will provide in your new business.

Content Creation Photo & Video Package: $250

    • Content is KING (or Queen!) Your new business will need a ton of content to share with potential Mermaids students and your social media following. This package will give you high quality photos and videos to use for marketing purposes.
