Escape to one of Trinidad’s most remote and untouched coastlines for five days of spearfishing, surfing, and island adventure.

Join Keke, Farrell, and legendary local waterman Chris Dennis of Waves for Hope Trinidad as we explore the rugged east coast of Trinidad. This is a place of empty beaches, lush jungle, waterfalls, and healthy reefs that see very little fishing pressure. Very few visiting spearfishers have experienced these waters, making this a truly unique destination.

We’ll spend 2–3 days spearfishing (depending on ocean conditions), enjoy 1–2 half-day surf sessions, and take time to explore waterfalls and the surrounding coastline. Expect opportunities to hunt species such as grouper, snapper, cobia, hogfish, and barracuda.

Chris has spent his life exploring this coastline and sharing the ocean through his nonprofit, Waves for Hope Trinidad, which uses surfing, freediving, and ocean therapy to empower local youth. Traveling with him offers an authentic experience far beyond the typical tourist path.

Accommodations

Stay in simple, oceanfront island accommodations featuring:

Our private chef will prepare delicious Trinidadian meals featuring fresh local ingredients and, when possible, the fish we harvest together.

Who Is This Trip For?

This trip is designed for experienced spearfishers who are comfortable diving in surge, current, and changing ocean conditions.

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 1 Freediver certification (or equivalent)
• Comfortable spearfishing to approximately 20 meters (65 feet)
• Good physical fitness and confidence in open ocean conditions
