If you’re a Level 1 certified freediver who’s ready to level up and chase your dreams of becoming a PADI Freedive Instructor, this is the course for you! Over 6 immersive days, you’ll refine your techniques, master essential disciplines, and unlock the skills needed to reach elite freediving levels.
At $2,800, this combo course offers extensive, hands-on training in a small, private setting. You’ll fine-tune everything from your dynamic and static apnea to free immersion and constant weight dives. Courses are held in South Florida during summer months (May-September) or at off-season destinations where conditions stay favorable year-round, including Barbados, Riviera Maya (Mexico), Roatan (Honduras), Grenada and the Bahamas.
While this course may seem like an investment, it’s all about delivering top-notch training. Not only do you get expert instruction, but you’ll also be diving from Live Free Diving’s private boat—meaning we handle everything from fuel and maintenance to storage and hiring a captain to give you the best experience possible.”
A word of caution- after completing the Level 1 Freediver course, many students are so pumped that they want to dive right into the next levels! While we love the enthusiasm, we suggest taking it slow and steady. As Malcolm Gladwell says in Outliers, it takes around 10,000 hours of practice to truly master a skill. We recommend waiting at least a year before jumping from Level 1 to Level 2 and 3. Use that time to sharpen your skills, train with friends, travel to different dive sites to build your knowledge and skills!. Trust us, you’ll enjoy the journey even more!
