GIVE BACK

PHILANTHROPY & LIVE FREE DIVING

Live Free Diving gives back not only to mother earth and our oceans but continues to create space, creativity, health and wellness efforts internationally by supporting those that care in the same way. LFD is dedicated to sharing Free Diving and the beauties of the ocean with those that might not necessarily have the opportunity or means to do so.

If you or your organization would like LFD to attend or support your event, please contact us at [email protected].

-In August of 2023 LFD volunteered to participate in GoDiveTobago, a freediving certification camp to grow freediving in the country of Trinidad & Tobago while exposing US Freedivers to the rich culture of the Southern Caribbean. The success of the event has led to follow up events and training sessions. We plan to return again in 2024 to further spread the joys of Freediving.

-In September of 2023 we participated in DiveFest Barbados, a similar event to grow the love of diving in Barbados and the Southern Caribbean. We worked with Barbados Blue Watersports to learn about coral restoration efforts and participate in Ocean Cleaup events.

-Each year, Live Free Diving hosts women inspired freediving events for PADI Woman’s Dive Day. These events help to inspire woman empowerment and women participation in diving.

-For Earth Day 2024, Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management, Live Free Diving teamed up with the City of West Palm Beach, Visit Palm Beach, and the Beach Bucket Foundation to host a shoreline cleanup event at Curry Park in West Palm Beach (will send some pics)

-Every Earth Week Live Free Diving hosts the “Get Trashy Challenge” an social media challenge that inspires people from all over the world to cleanup their local parks, coastlines, and public spaces in return for prizes from Live Free Diving!

-In March of 2023, Live Free Diving worked with PBCERM and MANG on a trash cleanup, invasive species removal and mangrove planting event.

-In March of 2023, Live Free Diving sponsored the “Friends of McArthur Park” event

Love the idea of “Give Back with LFD” we could use Waves for Hope Trinidad for this years organization. The organizer, Chris Dennis, attended the Instructor course of the GoDiveTobago camp and is already incorporating “Freedive Therapy” in addition to the Surf Therapy.

-In August of 2022, Live Free Diving Sponsored the “Freedivers for Autism” event
